JDS has collaborated with the UP government to promote Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) in rural India, running employment-generating courses such as retail management, beautician and electrician on campus. जे.डी.एस. ने ग्रामीण भारत में प्रधानमंत्री कौशल विकास योजना (PMKVY) को बढ़ावा देने के लिए उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के साथ सहयोग किया है, जिसके अंतर्गत परिसर में रिटेल मैनेजमेंट, ब्यूटीशियन, इलेक्ट्रीशियन जैसे रोज़गारपरक पाठ्यक्रम चलाए जाते हैं। Free soft skills, computer education, personality development and career counselling, plus UPSDM courses such as retail management and beautician. National Service Scheme (NSS) राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना (एनएसएस)
The college regularly organises NSS activities to instil a sense of duty and social responsibility in students. विद्यार्थियों में कर्तव्य और सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व की भावना जगाने के लिए कॉलेज नियमित रूप से एनएसएस गतिविधियाँ आयोजित करता है। A 7-day residential camp on the JDS campus in February 2019 gave students hands-on experience of community service. फ़रवरी 2019 में जे.डी.एस. परिसर में सात दिवसीय आवासीय शिविर ने विद्यार्थियों को सामुदायिक सेवा का प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव दिया। Camp themes were Swasth Bharat, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and Surakshit Bharat. Chief guests included the CMO of District Hospital Bareilly and the SHO of Bhuta. शिविर के विषय थे: स्वस्थ भारत, बेटी बचाओ–बेटी पढ़ाओ और सुरक्षित भारत। मुख्य अतिथियों में ज़िला अस्पताल बरेली के सीएमओ और भुता के एसएचओ शामिल रहे।
